  • Multiple Disk Systems

    New to Linux!!

I have done a little wading, in the Phoronix pool, and have it installed under Fedora 10. (1.8)

I have been able to run the section(s) that are of interest to me here in our SSD Lab.

That said, maybe someone here will be kind enough to save me some searching, and detail how to do Drive Selection on a multiple disk (SSD) drive platform???

    TIA!!

    Hi Labrat,

When running a test where the test profile supports testing other disks directly, it will ask you at run-time which disk you would like to subject to the tests. Otherwise, if you wish to force all tests to run on a different disk, change the EnvironmentDirectory location in ~/.phoronix-test-suite/user-config.xml to a directory where the disk you wish to test is already mounted. The tests will then be installed and run from that location.
