        TBD by whom, and why is he, she or it taking so long? The fglrx XvBA implementation must have been implemented months ago, so it aren't the devs who are holding it up.

        Whomever is stalling this only gives more opportunity to Nvidia to poison the Linux users with their crap. Surely this is not something AMD wants!

          The embedded implementation was... um... implemented months ago. We haven't even mentioned a public release, other than making the observation that if we released UVD2 support it would most likely come first in the proprietary driver.

              No, I call it good workstation support and improving consumer support, which is what we communicated.
