I haven't been following the development of Crossfire in fglrx at all. Last time I checked only r7xx cards were supported and limited Hybrid Crossfire on certain chips. I may be able to get a second HD3850 for free and instead of buying a newer single card, I plan to use that. Now, I don't think currently those cards can do Crossfire (when I check with aticonfig it says no candidates available), so my question is... will Crossfire ever support older cards (or does it support it right now with the latest drivers)?
