    Phoronix: Linux 2.6.29-rc3 Kernel Released

Development work on the Linux 2.6.29 kernel had slowed down a bit due to Linux.Conf.Au taking place last week, but the third release candidate has now been issued. There's a variety of bug-fixes and minor updates through the Linux kernel in 2.6.29-rc3, but nothing particularly exciting...

Suspend and resume issues for me on Ubuntu 8.10:

    ralink wifi g driver
    uinput module

If they haven't seen much work since the kernel was selected for 8.10, I'd give them a looking through.

Yay! Suspend to ram works again. With 2.6.28, it simply wouldn't wake up.

For me since maybe 2.6.20 hibernation doesn't work anymore, the computer shuts down, and after 1 second it starts again and resumes from hibernation.

Now I see this problem in two computers, both have Intel chipset.
