I want to have mythtv frontend run only on the TV-OUT screen (currently screen1) and leave the monitor (screen0) alone, with the two at different resolutions. At the moment it starts on screen0, which is not what is needed. (I want to configure the system using the monitor, but this will eventually be a DVR, and mythtv-frontend has to come up automatically on TV-OUT.)
The nvidia proprietary driver is working, tv-out works, but so far I have only been able to get the Monitor (1280 x 1024) as screen 0, and TV-out (640 x 480) as Screen1. When Mythbuntu starts up it puts the mythtv frontend on screen0, but I want it on screen1. Twinview is off and screen1 is to the right of screen 0, I tried swapping all the *0 and *1 lines in xorg.conf, but it wouldn't load module "type1" that way and X11 would not start. So far I have not been able to find the place where mythfrontend configures the choice of screen, as I suspect that would be the simplest way to get the desired result.
Failing that, is there not a way to swap the screens around?
