Phoronix: X.Org Talks Planned For FOSDEM 2009
It's less than a month away until FOSDEM, the annual Linux European meeting for developers, is held in Brussels, Belgium, but the list of X.Org-related talks is beginning to be finalized. Among the talks planned so far are about RandR 1.3, the open-source Nouveau driver, multimedia (audio) extensions for the X Server, GPU power management, r600_demo, LLVM + Gallium3D, and shader compiler optimization strategies. There still is, however, room for a few more talks. Hopefully an Intel employee (say Keith Packard) will talk about the Graphics Execution Manager, kernel mode-setting, or another exciting X topic...
