  • How to force-enabling DVI-D output of onboard IGP?

My HTPC box has got a NVIDIA GeForce 6150 IGP on-board, and its DVI-D output connected to a Samsung LCD TV by means of an DVI->HDMI-adapter.
Every now and then, after the TV has been off for quite some time, the display just stays black after switching the TV back on, even if the correct input for the TV is selected. At first, I was suspecting that DPM was kicking in, and the lirc-events my remote generates did not "wake" the display back up. Disabling DPMS via xset, however, did not change anything.

What I'd like to do now is to tell the DVI-D-output to stay on, no matter what. Is there some kind of driver option or other trick to achieve that?

NVIDIA driver version is 177.82, btw.
Working...
