I got the DVD box sitting beside me. Not opening yet, decided to give it as a present for my sis on new years

Well I'd have to see a review of the game first before I can make a decision.... Although I think I'll buy it just because theres a linux port on launch!
Why can't other idiot developers catch on? Probably because not enough of us make a point with our purchases. I should buy two: one for me and one for my brother, just like I did with Quake Wars.

In the exact same position for different reasons. Lack of time means I've yet to give it a whirl.

Is there a place I can download Ubuntu 64 bits packages for this?

No .debs available yet, but their zero install solution works ok.

What genre is this game? Their site doesn't say anything about it except that it looks good because it's made with blender. (And they had some vids, which I haven't watched).

I just think it's weird to be able to read so much about a game without ever finding a clue what the game is like at all. I can't tell if it's an adventure game (like monkey island), an FPS, an RPG, a puzzle game, or what. Online or single player?

Think Mario in a 3d world except that Mario has a really bad fur problem.
