id software ftp down

Hello,

I tried the 'install-all' flag, with the result that it hangs after installing x amount of packages because apparently there's no response from id software's ftp when downloading the doom3 binary.

How can I skip bits and bobs that won't download without breaking everything?

Use bittorrent to download the file and place in download-cache

Okay, I've found the answer. I've gone to the ID3 website, and from the following URL http://zerowing.idsoftware.com:6969/
I downloaded the doom3-linux-1.3.1.1304.x86.run file using a bittorrent client.

I then placed the file in /root/.phoronix-test-suite/download-cache

and voila...
