An idea for a compiz animation plugin

How about a melting window animation.


I'd like to have an animation that melts the window into a liquid that runs down the screen. It should look almost like the rain drops running down a car window. A good example would be the animation used in Crysis. When it rains the water runs down the lens of the camera. A similar animation for compiz when a window is closed would be totally freakin awesome.

Why post it here, and not at Compiz forum / mailinglist ?

Becouse I dont think the rendering engine is sophisticated enough to do it. Just look at how poor the rest of the animations are.

Besides it was just an interesting idea.
