  • State of PhysX on Linux?

So what's the state of PhysX on linux? Is it finally usable because of the CUDA SDK and all that? Or is there still effectively no support for hardware accelerated physics?

Not likely for a while since there are no games in linux that currently support PhysX. Maybe if some opensource apps like Nexiuz and such started supporting PhysX in at least the windows version then there would be some demand for on the linux ports and Nvidia might have a bit more motivation to implement it. We don't even know if the PhysX pack for UT3 will even work, depending of course if they ever release UT3 on linux.

Instead of hardware accelerated physics, I would actually want hardware accelerated graphics first (see all the "ATI sucks" threads)
