Hi
have been running 8.34.8 drivers with a 2.6.20 kernel and am having problems enabling my secondary monitor with "aticonfig --enable-monitor=tv". I get the following error:

etc etc
It kicks me out of gnome and restarts gnome so I'm back to the login screen. Annoyingly I can see the log in messages when I boot up on both monitors but when gnome starts it disappears from the tv. I can get 3D acceleration ok so I know the fglrx module is loaded ok and working.
I did have the 8.26.18 drivers working properly without any problems with the 2.6.18.2 kernel but then upgraded for other reasons....doh
Anyone seen this problem before? (had the same issues with the 8.33.6 drivers btw)
Any help much appreciated
Cheers
