ATI Catalyst 8.7 + X1600 + warCraft = Graphics corruption

    Dear all ,

    hope this is the right place for this post ,

    i've installed ATi catalyst 8.7 on ati card x1600 put whenever i play warcraft i see graphics corruption

    here is my xorg.conf

    You might tell us what kind of graphic corruption you speak of. Does it also happen with other OpenGL apps? Does it happen with other wine OpenGL apps.

    I stumbled on this problem cause I also have WoW/wine problems. What happens is whenever I start it up, it will repaint my screen from top to bottom in black. However the gnome panel(s) do not get updated until I mouse over them and they change. E.g. the launchers 'pop up' so it's a change, but the menu's do not change when mouse overing so stay black until I click them. It's a minor issue but does make it all look ugly.

    ETQW seems to run fine, I'll find a nother wine/opengl app to test it further with.

    All this on a HD3850 AGP.

      Use 8-5 driver.

        i don't use other wine program to compare , but when i watch movies i see a green line below any movie , also i failed to install ati 8.5
