Hi,
for some reason, I had to install the fglrx driver on my Ubuntu 15.04 beta and it does work, for the most part.
Problem is, that the GPU is always in a kind of low-power mode (I'm not hearing the fan. When I had the radeon driver installed, I heared it as soon as I started a game). Apparently there should be a command that goes like this 'aticonfig --set-powerstate=2' which should take care of it. Problem is, aticonfig complains that that command/option is not available. I also can't do 'aticonfig --list-powerstates' or 'aticonfig --lsp'.
Sooo, how do I get my GPU to work like it's supposed to work?
Oh, and before anyone asks: I get a much better performance with the radeon driver (at least I did in Ubuntu 14.10), than with this fglrx driver in Ubuntu 15.04. I also did use the fglrx-updates driver package.
