    Code:
    export GDK_BACKEND=wayland
    export QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland-egl
    export ECORE_EVAS_ENGINE=wayland_egl
    export ELM_ENGINE=wayland_egl
But now it is impossible to use it. Too many bugs
Reported bugs or irritating personal issues?

Weston will always require environment variables?

Why doesn't Weston "just work" without the user have to mess with setting environment variables?

Because it is not very wise to check the version of the GUI toolkit via Weston. Checking the Environment Variables - this is a normal unix way solution for this situation. You decide for himself to run program natively or using xwayland

i would go and guess this is not forever solution. right now only F21 shipped with Wayland, but still defaults to X.Org. and being the first implementation in the wild, just setting everything ON would be a call to a lot of problems. not everything was tested and things might break with different setups. just as example, your driver might break with 1/4 of these, but otherwise provide perfect working Wayland setup. this way you at least know what to report and what needs fixing

the first Fedora that should have Wayland as primary option is 23. At that time one can expect running on X.Org would require setting up variables (or not, i have no clue)

Fedora will likely drop xserver support at the same time... that should be also good time to change name of the Fedora hat to WHAT

              Logo competition begins now

He is not complaining about a missing feature, because minimizing support is the responsibility of the WM/compositor, not the Wayland protocol. This has been explained to him many times and he has chosen to ignore that. So this is indeed trolling and calling him out for that is neither radical nor has it anything to do with killing jews, foreigners or people not of your opinion.

I understand transition phase (fase), but one of the worst odd in Linux programming is the slowness and the extreme complexity on simple procedure. X11 is old and complex without any efficiency, it's necessary to dismantle it from linux.
The randomly positioned context menus, at least, occur in gnome-shell-wayland too, last I tried. Haven't been on there in a while, though.
