    Hmm, you're right, Mysql is still the default for desktops, Sqlite is only the default for mobile devices https://techbase.kde.org/Projects/PI...abase#Backends

    I must have read somewhere they made it the default for mobiles and remember that it's the default for everything.

        On Gentoo sqlite was the default backend for quite some time, but it broke completely around 4.11/4.12. unfortunately, sqlite is very close to its functional limits when used by akonadi. I personally like Akonadi with postgresql
