      For right now, it looks like only nvidia is supported.
      The day has landed folks. Borderlands 2 is now officially available for Linux and it brings us some excellent FPS action.


      "This port was challenging, for sure. Performance was at the core of our efforts and while ATI and Intel didn?t make the cut for release, we continue to work on performance for those chipsets and hope to come to a level of performance we can stand behind as gamers in the near future."

        In steam appears this on minimum system requirements

        OPERATING SYSTEM: SteamOS, Ubuntu 14.04
        CPU PROCESSOR: Intel Core 2 Quad, AMD Phenom II X4
        CPU SPEED: 2.4GHz
        MEMORY: 4 GB RAM
        HARD DISK SPACE: 13 GB
        VIDEO CARD (NVIDIA): Geforce 260
        VIDEO MEMORY (VRAM): 1GB
        And this about other chipsets

        NOTICE: Intel Integrated video chipsets and ATI chipsets are currently unsupported for Borderlands 2 Linux.

          Ooops, you are right, I had Steam with the Spanish prices, though I am in Finland

          Finnish price = 7.49?
          Spanish price = 4.99?
          USA price = 5$ = 4?

              Just what I was waiting for. Got it for $5 and it's on Linux. Gonna have to try this out.

                BTW just so anyone knows - if you want the Aspyr team to get credit for their work, buy the game or DLC through linux. If you buy it through Windows, they don't get the money. One of the developers said this somewhere buried in the steam forums.

                  BTW. This game works without problems on A10-7850K + Catalyst 14.6 beta 2.
