Any know what about performance? Is better than 14.6? Maybe any can compare to 14.40 or 14.50?

What about kernel 3.16 or 3.17? Its supports?

      Where can I RTFM on how 14.40 and 14.50 > 14.6 and 14.9?

I can't wait to see what the new AMD driver will do. Hopefully it will make AMD a good contender in Linux finally. Maybe even the first choice instead of Nvidia.

When you unpack "amd-catalyst-14-9-linux-x86-x86-64.zip" you get "fglrx-14.301.1001" and so on

As always, it more matters what is inside a package

More like spending 2 years whining about it. I have seen you posts. This is a major change in AMDs driver strategy, and it has great potential to make something good.

This driver does not yet contain the performance profile for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

If you want every next driver to be better, you always need to think it will be worse... then things will be better

AFAIK this one is stable, like mesa 10.2.1000 ultra stable and but no new features

Michael, why still linking to an article claiming that 14.50 will support HSA
when Bridgman already replied on that matter?

OpenCL 2.0 can make use of some HSA HW features but that's not the same as an HSA software stack.
I know you practically never update (read 'correct') articles as it doesn't seem to pay your bills,
but please at least don't link to that stuff anymore.
