    Well, good that radeon can now do 32-bit, from a 64-bit kernel, but still no dynamic powermanagement, hopefully they'll have that by 10.2 or 11, I suppose on the bright side PC-BSD should be much more polished by the time I'm ready to put it on hardware

      Really excited... right in time for the google fiber rollout in my neighborhood.
      Should make an excellent server platform.

        Unfortunately the only hardware I have to put it on would be my own PC which has an R9 290, which has been quite troublesome on Linux for drivers.

        EDIT: Yes, I would put it on there with a graphical interface like KDE or something.
