At some point there was work -not sue if it was Hogsberg or another dev- on wayland about an experimental network protocol or something like that. Is this still going on??? Anyone know about it?

By analogy, islam has no connection with killing people, but people use it a lot as a reason to behead the "non-believers" (despite the koran explicitly prohibiting oppressing "non-believers") and people who have nothing to do with it. I knew a guy who didn't allow a girl to be a prostitute because she was white - and he didn't give a flying banana if it made sense to anyone but him.

This is a really poor excuse for bringing up race in discussions that has nothing to do with race. It desensitizes people from discussing about it when there are actual racial problems. You shouldn't be contributing to that problem. Don't pollute the discussions unnecessarily.
