Users Warned About Possible Regressions With DRI3
Phoronix: Users Warned About Possible Regressions With DRI3
Users of Fedora 21/Rawhide, Arch Linux, or other bleeding edge distributions where DRI3 is in play with the Intel Linux graphics driver, be forewarned about possible regressions...
May DRI3 be the reason why I experience a memory leak with wireshark on KDE/Arch ? I had to use the Qt (development) version to get it running. I couldn't reproduce the bugs on some others distros like slackware.
AFAIK, DRI3 was disabled in Arch. Check the PKGBUILDs of xorg-server and mesa.
DRI3 is now disabled in xf86-video-intel 2.99.912-4

Btw, I didn't had any problem with DRI3 enabled...
