    Afaik when Wayland support lands the users won't need to update their graphics drivers for each new wayland release.

      yes and no all major releases will need new drivers

        For major releases or smaller - doesn't matter, no driver update, unless you want the new features.

          well, lets hope they've fixed the issues that caused XBMC not to display the texts (menus etc) on OpenSUSE (maybe on other distros as well)
