I have an older computer with a Radeon VIVO (R100 chip) connected to a TV via svideo, currently running XP and bento 12 (long story, thanks to the unhelpful admins of the ubuntu forums). Svideo works fine in XP and even while booting up to the boot menu, but as soon as bento starts to load, the TV goes blank. The only output that xrandr reports is VGA-0. The open ATI driver is supposed to support TV-out on the R100 series cards. Any ideas how I can get it to work?
