IPv6 gone again? :(
I always worry that developers read comments on these forums. Please remember:
a) most people are extremely appreciative of free software developers' work
b) negative people tend to be more...
Valid concern for most (all?) current phones, but the Neo900 aims to solve that problem. Link regarding the baseband.
29th July 2014!
To those getting mouse lag in native Linux Source games - I had crippling mouse lag with multicore rendering enabled, but absolutely none with it disabled. Toggling vsync made no difference.
It's there in Firefox 12 for me on this box and in Firefox 10 on another box.
x64 on its own still loses too much historical meaning for my liking. x86-64s sounds perfect!
Why the name x32? If x86 comes from Intel 8086 and its derivatives (which are now 32-bit), and x86-64 is x86 with 64-bit extensions, why is it meaningful to call this x32?
Brilliant talk, I've been listening to it all week on the way to and from work (my drive isn't that long). I wish there was always something that interesting to listen to...
Oh dear what is going on Epic?
It truly is a depressing Epic-related time.
That was a really depressing read :(
It sounds like Epic are really giving up on PCs...
I am indeed running with that patch, however that still gives two issues:
a) The mouse in the menu doesn't move
b) In game the cursor no longer escapes, however it does vary in speed greatly...
You're right - that tool was just a frontend for the built in benchmark.
Here's the output of a benchmark in wine-0.9.56, running with the default settings for the tool, with an unpatched UT3...
I haven't yet - are you referring to this benchmarking app?
I'll give it a go if that's the one.
Indeed. It runs significantly better on that than my old 7 series.
It does _run_ in Wine (with the R32F patch), however even then the framerate flucutates from very low to 0, as well as having nasty mouse warping issues.
You can't just say that!
Now that Nvidia cards will support PhysX after Nvidia buying Ageia, I wonder if it will turn out that the PhysX stuff really was causing the delays and we might see that get sorted out.
