Q: Catalyst blob or Windows
One restricted properitary system supports another properitary system that is even more restricted. What a wonderful new Linux world. . .
There is no difference between apus and discrete gpus.
All you need is x86-video-ati ati-dri (lib32-ati-dri) and perhaps a radeon.conf in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d.
I don't know what why one should have...
Well, Qt maps EVERYTHING. There is QList, QMap and i am very sure there is a QMatrix no matter std::matrix exists or not ...
I am unsure whether a standard math lib is really 100% a good thing or...
And 14.8 would have made you installing catalyst?:rolleyes:
Well, the people defending OGL with "all their teeth" usually try to point at that CURRENTLY OpenGL performs on par with Direct3D for CURRENT requirements. Many devs are too lazy and ignorant to...
With catalyst 14.6 which is definetly fine and a usable driver i do not reget buying an A10-7850K anymore.
Hopefully Metro Redux will run as smooth as the orginial!
If only 3D printers could do it .... ;)
It is your fault if you decide to use FSX while there is a technically far superior product out there running natively on Linux and is available on Steam. You know what i am talking about ... ;)...
But if you want to support DRM free software ignoring/piracing is not enough.
Supporting DRM free software means buying DRM free software on GOG or/and Humble store.
I strongly doubt publishers...
My "Is it" was not related to the question you cited above and i still did not say there are no drm free games on steam. ;)
This wastes forum space so stop it please :o
This is far from anything i said but you have a strong desire to post something, do you? ;)
Why do you people repeat the same stuff again and again ignoring what one said?
IMHO Steam is no resource for DRM free stuff, because:
- everybody who WANTS DRM goes to steam (thank you for this...
Is there a significant number of DRM free games of reasonable quality on steam?
In theory "STEAM != DRM", reality says something else.
While reading this news i realized my attitude changed:
Perviously: "DRM or not. Happily there is some Linux software to support!"
Now: "Darksiders for Linux? Nice? Is it on GoG? No .. hmm.. Is it...
After reading this article i have no idea what cutelyst does and what is it for.
Excatly. This is anything but a representative test of desktop environments. On phoronix you see only Ubuntu benchmarks with invalid conclusions regarding to general performance of specific software...
I am pretty happy with 14.6. (Almost) no reason to complain.
[ ] you got the point what mantle is about.
[ ] you know the problems with opengl and why catalyst drivers were bad in the past (14.6 are definetly fine).
[x] As alternative side-by side with yum and red blinking beta-warnings.
