    X-Video not working in Fedora 7

    just installed 8.40 and i can't get XV to work in Fedora 7.

    xvinfo says...

    the AMD test logo is gone, but i can't set my resolution to 1600x1200.

    what else changed in this re-release besides the logo?

    and nothing more than that. but that message indicates that it
    should work.

    the build and install was straightforward, and it's running and
    working on my Fedora 7 system. but XVideo isn't working, and neither
    is OpenGL(seems to be using the Mesa library).
