    Why would they do that? It's not in the best interest of Nvidia's bottom-line. You'll just have to keep buying new cards, after all their blob just works and that's all that matters to most.

    Civ-BE runs fine for me under Windows 8.1 64bit, either single gpu or crossfired, DX11 or Mantle. 7970's and FX8350...I'm sure it will run fine under Linux as long as they don't rush the port.
