    Hi guys!

Well, a lot of fixes got in these past two days thanks to some awesome fellow that offered pull requests!
That might explain why the intel driver is more accurate now, tomtomme ;)

  2. Mesa vs OpenGL matrix

    Hi there!

I made a PHP script that tries to display the OpenGL compliance of Mesa across the different drivers:

    It's on GPLv3.
    It's not perfect yet, so...

Because the game's port to Mantle is *optional*, maybe that's why?
EA clearly won't drop the DirectX API..

All in all, it allows game developers to take some lead on the future techs, it allows...

Redeem a game on Steam doesn't mean giving all your money to Steam. I'm sure HB doesn't do that. But I don't know the price to get redeem keys either (I just know that HB asks a minimum amount to...

I'm sorry I can't be clearer, maybe you'll understand me later, maybe not.
Anyway, economically speaking, showing openness is *never* a bad thing.

It's not that bizarre, it's even a perfectly known economic rule: why do you think all the restaurants are gathered in the same streets, or why computer shops are all together? Following your idea,...

Well the answer is quite simple: I like DRM-free games, but it's way easier to manage you game library with Steam. Being able to redeem my games on Steam allows me to have both. On the opposite, if I...

If you don't like DRM (which is perfectly understandable), right now the best solution I found is to buy the DRM-free games in the Humble store and redeem them in Steam, so you can still take profit...

The last indie bundle was a year ago. I think we can say they clearly don't want to do more now.

I'm really disappointed with the Humble Bundles.
They used to represent DRM-free, cross-platform games.

But now it's just barely cross-platform...
In that specific case, money is a bad driver.

Maybe "Intel is interested by the tech" would have been better indeed ;)

I added Intel because that's what I gathered reading the other posts. If it's not true, meh, no biggy, my point was more on the fact that AMD is behind Mantle.

I don't think it will be that long. It will be longer than Windows, for obvious reasons, but not years I think.

I've read a lot of posts saying that AMD cards just have poor performances and I find it pretty unfair.

I have a Radeon HD 6870, obviously with the free drivers, and I can run all my Steam games....

Well, first, AMD released their specs, NVIDIA didn't.
Then, AMD is helping and even working on the open source drivers, NVIDIA doesn't (or is beginning to see if it might be interesting for them...)...

I totally agree with you Luke_Wolf, Mesa/Intel/Gallium/Radeon/Nouveau have done a tremendous job and I don't think it's fair to keep their head under the water like that.
    What I feel, Michael, is...

In order to make it right, could you give me the commands I should run before, after or in parallel of my capture? I suppose "top" is a must have. I also have...

I have 4GB of RAM, but since Chromium needs more memory but is still faster, I don't think that's the problem. Moreover, the swap is always at 0 Bytes.

After a few hours (a day?) I noticed that...

I agree with Pallidus, Firefox is much slower than Chromium. At least try both versions side by side to see the difference. And not with only one tab, it's as absurd as testing "1+1" on a calculator...
