ccache greatly reduces the recompilation time.
Have they implemented C11 threads too?
Thanks. Does lack of "field-based output"/"GL interop" support apply to UVD 2.0 (RV770/RV790) generation too?
By the way, I think this deserves a post on your blog Alex :)
Sorry, I'm a bit confused here. Wasn't RV770/RV790 supposed to be UVD 2.0 capable? Seems like it's going to use same path as UVD 1.

I love you AMD (/^-^(^ ^*)/
I'm allergic to LEGACY
None works (atleast on Linux). All I'm asking is please don't block us from both sides, we are already fscked enough with european/chinese internet c*****ing technologies here. :)
Please remove the nasty block on amd.com Iranian visitors if possible. We can't access products, drivers, development tools, documentation section and ... easily.
Thank you very much Marek! :)
Nice to hear that it isn't GL 4.x only.
wow such rage ;)
I don't know how did you come up with 11.5 and 10.4, but that's okay for now :p . Yes, a DX11 based graphics engine will run on older DX10 and DX9 hardware, but that's only possible when developers...
I think a D3D9 state tracker is nothing more than waste of resources. New graphics engines are mostly based on D3D10/OGL3+, even gaming consoles are equipped with DX11 level (AMD?) hardware these...
Nouveau is lately making good progress; is this all done through reverse engineering the binary blobs?
Great work KDE team
I think AMD will totally win the Linux market if they reach almost same performance as proprietary drivers like open source video drivers did. Good job to you Bridgman and your team
Column editing sounds great :)
Actually you are the one trolling here. Vim_User is politely asking for updates on the matter and gets in trouble since AMD is not wiling to publicly share the work progress (if any). For a desktop...
Sure, next year :D
