Why not Mesa devel?
PS At what stage of education are You? Still some left or going to work (hint: AMD ;) )?
OpenGL 3.3 is sound. All games work. And most should have less troubles on r600g by now (radeonSI depends on LLVM present in system)
But You can forget about reproductability.
Cause of implementation differences, cause of default settings differences, cause of implementation perf. differences. Etc.
OK So how to override LD path to Steam Runtime?
Ok, that may mean that either:
1) OpenSuSE folks botched the required libs and there are no versions info in them (unlikely) or
2) LD path is set wrongly, and it points to lib which it should not...
./.steam/steam/SteamApps/common/star conflict/StarConflict: /lib/libcrypto.so.1.0.0: no version information available (required by ./.steam/steam/SteamApps/common/star conflict/StarConflict)...
Disapointing, game wont launch. :|
(It cruch for some time, will open and immediately close window, and then will stay as zombie process ...)
PS Is r600g enough to play this game?
But review sites (and anybody else) will still use FPS. So kill that FPS and put there those automatically calculated percentiles for given second
* 99 percentile
Like explained here:
Valve pls, chop that code down.
Lets move to 95 percentile of frame time rendering.
FPS is just SO junk (and can actually result in less enjoyable gameplay experience due to occasional...
When its blocked that one environment line enable it.
(Ofc. assuming that there are no distro specific patches that cut out integration wholesale)
I know that spectators dictating FLOSS devs what to do are stupid.
But another developer doing same, and at the same time saying, but I can not explain why....
I have 64 bit OpenSuSE, and no such troubles...
You need force_s3tc_enable=true or something like that.
IMHO that lower score is more related to data transfers. Which is not the bottleneck for tessellation (number of output vertices per pass is).
So that bench should not matter. (And it really do not...
When will magical "We support Vendor recommended GPU drivers" mean r600g/radeonSI/something_else_here?
And I do not mean Game Devs retroactiviely advising to use r600g/radeonSI cause Catalyst...
Also Mantle allow for ditching basic SLI technique in which alternate frames are rendered on both GPU's.
Now game devs can assign different task to different GPUs (So weaker GPU from APU may just...
DX12 talk at GDC will be PR. But that blog at least clearly state that DX12 will be real thing...
and will be vapoware for 2y
Q: When will I be able to get my hands on...
