Hello.
I have the following problem.
Using nvidia-settings I cannot increase the clock frequencies on my laptop video card (8600 GS).
Decreasing work fine. But after decreasing I cannot increase them back! So if, with default being 500/700, I decrease it to 400/600 I won't be able to increase them back to 500/700 until I restart X server. (BTW, Windows nTune exhibits similar behavior, but doesn't even allow me to decrease clocks)
Is there a solution to this problem?
P.S. I must note that I'm not crazy enough to overclock laptop videocard, but I want to increase 2D frequencies (up from 169/100) to enable smooth compiz performance.
