Hi!
Okay, since modelines in the xorg.conf do not seem to be recognized at all, how do I get the newest fglrx drivers to acknowledge my laptop's 1680x1050 resolution? It tops out at 1280x1024, and I can't seem to find anything that tells my how to get it to go any denser.
Very odd since Xorg.0.log clearly says that it sees this "additional supported mode", but then seems to completely ignore it with no errors.
Help? The resolutions that do show up are all 4:3, and everything be lookin funky.
This is an X1600 in a Compaq nc8430 laptop.
Thanks!!!
Brady
