Hi,
Recently i put 4 GB of ram (4x1 GB DDR2 - 667MHz CL5) in my FOXCONN 945P7AA-8KS2 board (945P) based. And the problem is that the board only sees about 3,2 GB. I know about the 32 bit OS problem with allocating whole 4 GIGABYTES of RAM. But the problem is the same with 64bit Linux (fedora 7 64bit or CEntos 5 64bit).. The same with Windows XP 64bit. They all see only 3.2 GB. I have googled for an answer and found that 945P can not allocate more than 3.2 GB of RAM because the 945P chipset is 32 bit or something like that. Can someone confirm these claims? I almost forgot, the CPU is Intel Pentium D 820 which is EMT64 of course. Also which board would you recomend to replace my board with? Or at lesst can someone tell me which chipset dont have this restriction.
