  • aticonfig -odtc ????

    So wanting to check my gpu clocks to see if Google Chrome was giving it a run (it wasn't) I accidentally typed "aticonfig -odtc". Unfortunately this is some undocumented command to which I got the response:
    using dtc
    Saving back-up to dtc.fglrx-0

    Afterwards I found a file "dtc" in my home folder which I never noticed before. This file just contains a copy of my Xorg.conf file.
    Anyone have a clue what I just did?

    Sounds like -o writes the config to a file, in this case "dtc". If you for example happened to enter "aticonfig -osomething", you should have a copy of the Xorg config called "something"
