    There is a bug with both 3.11 and 3.12 kernels with HDMI audio output on Ati Radeon 2600 PRO. It is totally broken (was working fine till 3.11) I have reported that to Launchpad (Bug #1239233) but someone should report it upstream.

    I hope they will fix it before 3.12 is released.

        especially faster open-source graphics driver performance.
        If this meant the lately discussed ondemand patch:
        It is easily applied by me to LTS Linux-3.10.16. Nobody has to wait!
