Phoronix: Benchmarking On Fedora Is Very Easy

Benchmarking on Fedora is as easy as running yum install phoronix-test-suite and then running phoronix-test-suite benchmark favorites (or another test/suite), it's really that easy! Pushed into Fedora 11 and as an update to Fedora 9 and Fedora 10 is the Phoronix Test Suite. The Phoronix Test Suite is our GPLv3 software for running automated tests on Linux, OpenSolaris, MacOS X, and BSD operating systems. The Phoronix Test Suite ships with over 90 test profiles and 30 test suites and new test profiles can be easily added through our framework...

Phoronix, Linux Hardware Reviews, Linux hardware benchmarks, Linux server benchmarks, Linux benchmarking, Desktop Linux, Linux performance, Open Source graphics, Linux How To, Ubuntu benchmarks, Ubuntu hardware, Phoronix Test Suite

Congratulations for the extremely cool milestone.

Something like PTS was badly missing, and now we have an extremely complete benchmarking/testing framework.

    Kudos for the great work
