Very excited to see how this game will turn out.
If they can make the interface simple and fun enough to use even with all the functions they're building into the game then this might just become my new favourite RTS!

Oh and I love how seriously Linux users are considered as an audience for gaming projects on kickstarter. So awesome

            i wander into enemy base.

other thoughts: my integrated graphics seems to handle the game relatively well lots of boxes for gibs though XD

yup been out for a week or two now. I am going via STEAM for this so it manages the update. STEAM doesn't have 64bit libs for its overlay so it then has to be launched via ~/.local/share/Steam/....

Yeah, but it's very expensive - 82.99 euro on steam!

its $90 *IF* you want alpha access, retail it is only $40.
Think of it like humble-bundle... pay want you want to support them and indie dev's BUT if you pay over a certain amount you get some extras
I backed it with $90 to provide support for a linux client NOT for alpha - it really is an alpha btw, the linux client has a selection bug which means it can't really operate

Spring is just an engine mate, one that has a vast amount of time spent on it compared to PA I might add.

I did a write up of PA with a screenshot timeline http://www.gamingonlinux.com/article...onslaught.2089

Glad to see it on Linux!

price is for alpha access + goodies otherwise, it is quite affordable.
