Quick, how do Radeon HD 7xxx cards function with this kernel with the open source drivers with an accompanying mesa?

Very excited to try the power management stuff on my Radeon hardware. The UVD stuff already works great on the cards I've tried (4650, 5570, 6310 in AMD E-350 netbook).

Note that there are some fixes in Alex's drm-fixes-3.11 branch which aren't in 3.11rc1. At least one of them (/drm/radeon/dpm disable gfx PG on PALM) looks important for anyone with an E-350 or similar APU :

Power management for AMD is pretty glorious.

So, what's the status on Intel GPU Overclocking, anyone knows? It seems like there was a patch back in March, but did it ever make it to mainline?

                More details here:

Just tested the drm-fixes-3.11 branch, still the problem with artifacts on my HD6870. Where do I report that bug, does it go under the xorg section on freedesktop.org bugtracker?

So I built 3.11-rc1 with fix for PALMs (I have C-60 APU). Seems to be working fine except that power level stays at 0 no matter what state has been chosen (I played HL for awhile but it had no effect) and power_dpm_force_performance_level stays at auto despite echoing high or low to it.

I'll have to get around to gathering data and reporting, but 3.11 fails to log me into a cinnamon desktop at all with either dpm=1 or dpm=0. If I switch from GDM to lightdm, I at least get a login prompt, but still fail at launching the window manager. I just get a pointer on a black screen indefinitely.

The machine can still be ssh'd into, and there's dmesg spam to go with it:
