      Sure there was an actual release and not just a tag to prepare for release?
      The ffmpeg website says nothing so far about a 2.0 release…

        2.0 was released on 2013-07-08. It is the latest stable FFmpeg release from the 2.0 release branch, which was cut from master on 2013-07-08. Amongst lots of other changes, it includes all changes from ffmpeg-mt, libav master of 2013-07-07, libav 9 as of 2013-07-07.

          Nothing of both. I think they use the lookahead Kernels for h264.

            Some video filters can use OpenCL i.e. deshake.
