Dropping support for DOS and Win 95 is probably long overdue.

But I was hoping they retained support for Win 98, since I know it's still being used in a production capacity in certain environments.

i effing hate then OEMs use DOS/freedos for their utlities. many hdd controllers are not supported and the system is flaky. just use linux or winpe and stop annoying people.

Man, DJGPP, those were the days. I wonder how many folks my age got started with C/C++ using that. Linux wasn't even able to run the GNU OS userspace tools at the time, iirc (not that I would even hear about Linux until almost 8 years later).
