    Is this a serious attempt of a ZFS file system, or just something that is never meant to be used for real?

      Seems to be real. They're trying a novel approach by not journalling at all but doing log replays instead.

      Also it seems ZFS has set the bar pretty low, it should be pretty easy to beat.
