Phoronix: Fedora 21 Being Planned For Mid-October Release

We have known for a while now that Fedora 21 won't be released before August, but it looks like the actual release that's now being planned won't happen until the fourth quarter...

I think Gnome 3.14 will be released in Oct. Hopefully Fedora 21 will catch this and get wayland desktop working as the default.

Fedora21 would be best being releaased in November so it WILL get Gnome3.14 https://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipe...ch/009488.html & https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/GNOME3.12

Here is hoping that Wayland will be mature enough by then for at least some enablement by default in Fedora 21.

Planned for mid-October... I'm assuming it will actually release in late November.

Wonder when will they decide on whether Wayland will be default or not, pretty sure it's too early now.
