        Ironically the "Spherical Cow" is a jab at the notion that real life is nothing like how you might model it for eg. release management purposes

          actually, we don't often slip two weeks at a single release point. the issue with f18a is the new installer UI, which wasn't really entirely cooked in time. we're hopeful that this will be the last one, though.

            honestly, i don't care. fedora is an alpha grade product. if you want reliability, you go for rhel. so fixing a product that's gonna be buggy anyway is a little cynical

              I've got ~20 Fedora installations around me and I fail to see what makes them 'alpha grade'.
