      Great news. All they need to do is improve file manager and add more modules by default, some fancy useless stuff I wonder what's their plans after releasing e17. Browser, music,video player, text editor based on efl would be nice too. Oh and please some fancy terminal emulator

            xmms2 is so geeky, i don't want server-client stuff. I want enjoy.
            vlc requires qt.

                Media apps apart there are some more "basic" stuff needed in E. A native NM app would be nice for example. (yes i know there is conman) Also the login manager needs some love. I heard they were working again on Entrance but have no idea if its prime time ready. And yeah. The theme is a bit meh..

                  Yes, true. A lot love indeed is needed. And yes i agree on default theme, it's kinda meh, but it's okay. Also i think they should make it more bling like, with some tweaks.
