      Uh, we're talking about WINE. It's made to run windows apps... what's wrong with it having Mono so that it can run more Windows apps? We aren't talking about trying to push native Linux apps to use Mono...

        The topic of the post is Wine.... what exactly is the problem with them using Mono? Why is running C#/F# fully natively worse than a translation layer for actual win32 executables?

          LOL, I'm using it since 1.5.14


          ...and YES, MONO is MUCH better than .Net in *WINE*


          I'm having much better results with it than trying to use .Net in WINE.


          ...and LOL also to Plonoma that is clueless

            is it just me or is wine getting a ton of development attention lately? every release seems to include a handful of necessary features. I think it's great, I'm just wondering if wine has recently been funded by another company, or if codeweavers suddenly got a bunch of customers.
