    While Linux continues to move along quite briskly on ARM hardware support and already has 64-bit ARM AArch64 support, that's not the case in the BSD world. With FreeBSD, they're still working on bringing up ARMv6 support and pulling in support for the different ARM SoCs/boards...

    so basically what bsd advocates are saying is that the only hat trick it can offer over linux is zfs. something that they didn't even make. in everything else freebsd lags behind and is slowing fast. UEFI support- in the works, KMS- ... , LLVM- ... , wireless drivers- ... , arm support- ... , fast init system like systemd- ...
