HTTPS Is Now Enabled For OpenBenchmarking.org Embedded Graphics
I just realized... you enabled SSL in the articles, but disabled it in the forums. Kinda useless this way...
The forums mess up with HTTPS, which is mostly outside of my control as there vBulletin is used as the forum software rather than my own in-house software powering the rest of the site.
No idea, just what many people have been requesting....
There's no reason sites shouldn't be using HTTPS nowadays, especially when dealing with any kind of login credentials. For a site dedicated to Linux news, that stance is kind of surprising. Can't really find any kinder way to say this, but if you expect any kind of donation from me (when my own finances allow for it anyway), I expect to see some kind of care for user privacy, and thus, site-wide HTTPS.
As for the forums, that's strange that it wouldn't support HTTPS. I found an older vBulletin 3 forum that uses HTTPS, but quick searching didn't show any vBulletin 5 forums using it. There seems to be a way to handle logins via SSL on the forum (for vBulletin Connect): https://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/...tall_ssl_login
Personally, I would question a forum software that doesn't "just" support HTTPS. I use MyBB over on my site, and it supports HTTPS without any issue, along with being FOSS.
