    I doubt it. There's a lot of software (both open and closed source) that aims for portability between different UNIX platforms - if you change things so that something as simple as /bin/sh can no longer be found in the expected location (which is required by POSIX), you're creating a huge amount of unnecessary work for people, just because you don't like the existing directory names. Not gonna fly.
