    One day you open up your Paypal account to find that God has given you $10.00 . If you don't have a Paypal account or don't believe in god pretend for a second you do.

    You read the message and it says the fallowing:

    This money is to be donated to an open source project of your choice.

    RULES
    • The money must not be to your own project.
    • You may not retrieve the money back.
    • The project must use a Free Software Foundation license (GPL ect...).
    • The project must be active.
    • You cant give it to a friends project.

    So who do you give the $10 to?

            Not sure why you're mandating an FSF license.. Oh well.

            OpenBTS team. Because OpenBTS is cool and those guys really need the money to fend off the patent sharks.

              FSF because it regulates the scope. Nothings wrong with other free licenses i suppose it just adds some definition to the question.

                  There are so many choices that I find it very hard to choose but these would certainly be considered: MPlayer and Urban Terror.

                      Flashrom, because they wrote a patch for my old motherboard so that I could flash my bios. I've always thought that if someday I have a lot of money I'd sponsor a few projects that I really like, maybe donate a few servers or something.
