        Also after maybe 5 versions Gnome will remove the minimize buttons and exit buttons completely because you'll have transparent windows and people never close apps in the future. There will be so much RAM we don't know how to waste it all.

            That joke would have made more sense if you said iOS (or Metro, or Android) where closing apps is treated as a feature for advanced users only. OS X still has close buttons right there in the corner.

              besides, is there actual support at the protocol level? Last i checked enlightenment couldnt implement it for e18 since it was missing still, and it wasnt long ago...
